The
United States Pacific Islands Bulletin The Bulletin is a periodic newsletter intended to
record Postal History, Postmarks, Cachets and Mail Services (only occasionally stamps) and aims to update or record anything
not mentioned in A Postal History/Cancellation Study of the U.S. Pacific Islands by Robert T. Murphy,
which was published by the American Philatelic Society in 1984. Published several times a year since May
1993, the Bulletin has provided numerous updates to the Murphy work, which can be quite useful. The main areas covered
are American Samoa, Guam, The U.S. Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands and the successor states - Commonwealth of the Northern
Mariana Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, Republic of Palau and Republic of the Marshall Islands.
You will also find material from Wake Island, Johnston Island, Midway Island, Canton Island, Bonin Islands, Christmas Island
and many other Pacific Islands touched by U.S. Administration or Postal Services, Civil or Military, in the last 150 years
or so. The group's coverage excludes Hawaii and the Philippine Islands. An index to the first 79 issues
through December 2017 is available below.
